Press office in Spain
Getting your brand into the outlets your buyer actually reads, often enough to stop being a stranger. Not sending releases: having a working relationship with the people who decide what gets published.
What it is, and when you need it
When companies call
A press office is not a one-off job: it is a sustained relationship with newsrooms. These are the three moments companies call us in.
Nobody knows you exist
You have a product, you have customers, and not one mention in a Spanish outlet. That weighs more here than you would expect: the buyer checks, and finding nothing is an answer.
You only appear when you pay
Advertising yes, press no. They are different things, bought differently. What a journalist writes of their own accord carries weight an advert never will, with a reader and with an AI model alike.
You have something to say and it stays inside
Launches, agreements, figures, hires. Material that would be news if it were written as news and reached the right person at the right time.
Why us
Twenty years placing stories in the Spanish press
BlaNZ Group is a communications agency in Barcelona, working since 2006. We do not optimise other people’s citations: we generate them. And we produce our own television programme, which lets us do something an agency without a studio cannot.
Figures for the agency as a whole since 2006, across Spanish and international clients.
The service
What it includes, point by point
01
Newsroom relationships
Ongoing contact with national dailies, the wire agencies, the business press, trade titles and the regional press. The list is built by sector, not bought.
02
Writing releases and articles
Written so a journalist can publish them, not so they read well on your website. It is a different trade.
03
Placement and follow-up
Sending is the beginning. What decides whether you appear is the call, the exclusive and the timing.
04
Interviews and profiles
Placing the spokesperson where they belong: not every interview helps, and some hurt.
05
Press conferences and launches
Invitation, venue, press pack, follow-up, and the round of individual briefings where coverage is really decided.
06
Results report
Every appearance with its outlet, date, headline and byline. Checkable one by one.
The process
How it starts, and in what order
First
A conversation
- What you sell, to whom, and what you have tried. We tell you whether there is a story or there is not.
Then
The plan
- Which outlets, with what message, in what order and over what period. In writing.
After
The work
- Writing, contacts, placement and follow-up, month by month.
Always
The report
- What was obtained, checkable. No adjectives.
